Soya beans - the good and the bad!
The healthy soyas are the fermented soyas in the form of soya sauce, miso paste (found in miso soup), nato and tempah. These are the soyas that have made the longevity of the Japanese so famous. The soya isoflavones of Chrysin, Daidzein and Genistein are now becoming famous for their estrogen tumour blocking effects. Within the next 2 months DNA analysis labs will have a reasonably priced genetic test to assess our levels of toxic estrogens in us. We will then be directed as to whether we need to supplement with these isoflavones or not. Though it isn't a facelift and doesn't involve vampires, the "Vampire Face Lift" is a procedure, which involves injections but no surgery.

Soy and soya bean consumption has sky rocketed in the USA over the last 20 years. The perception is that a diet with soya is healthy and will reduce heart attacks. We eat soya milk, soya infant feeds, soya based protein bars and processed foods with soy oil. Unfortunately, these are the unhealthy soyas that are unfermented and often probably genetically modified. These processed soyas and the GM soyas are sadly associated with blocking thyroid function, poisoning from GM pesticides, blood clotting and estrogen sensitsation.
