More about Botox
|
Botox is injected into muscles and not into lines. Botox takes a full week to take effect and works for 12 weeks. Repeating the Botox at this stage will last longer. If you do not require tight results from the botox then you may eventually get 6 to 9 months benefit from injections. The most common side effect from these small Botox injections is bruising. Try and avoid anti-inflammatories (Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Brufen, Voltaren) for 2 days before the injections as they can thin the blood. The menses, vitamin C and fish oil can all result in thinned blood and bruising. To avoid Botox moving to the wrong muscle please do not do heavy exercise for 12 hours after being injected. If after 1 week you are not happy with our treatment, then please contact us so that we can correct the problem with a free top-up. We will also make every effort to contact you. You may not have Botox if you are pregnant, breast feeding or allergic to Botox. |
